Еду по работе в Мумбай, вот думаю может задержаться и посмотреть что-нибудь заодно? В Индии не была, и не тянуло, ибо не люблю жару, грязь, и толпы. Аaa, индийскую еду тоже не люблю... Кто был и понравилось, поделитесь, может мне тоже все таки надо?

По той же причине не хочется ехать в Индию. По-моему у Кати Андреевой есть альбомы про Индию. Помню она на старом Привете выставляла.

Мне запомнился один эпизод из рассказа одной женщины. Не помню где читала. Спросила она в фойе своего отеля есть ли у них питьевая вода. Консьерж указал ей на ведро с водой на стуле и рядом стоящая кружка. Она спросила а бутылочная есть? Он взял какую-то пустую бутылку и налил туда воды из ведра.

Когда- то в Бостоне общался с антик дилером, знатоком азиатской культуры и искусства, он , хорошо зная Индию, проводил много времени в штате Раджастхан на северо- западе. Настоятельно советовал, если ехать в Индию , сделать поездку туда приоритетной.

У меня аналогичное отношение к тому региону, но 'ехать надо'.
Еды индийской я даже запаха не переношу. Придётся немного поголодать с зажатым прищепкой носом.
В общем, буду морально готовиться к Индии и Непалу, но уже в 2026 году, ибо до этого у нас всё забито, включая, с подачи некоторых , втиснутую Словению.

Мы планируем поездку с группой Gate1, с которыми летали в Эквадор, на Галапагосы и в Амазонию, причём остались очень довольны. Главное, они в своих поездках полностью обеспечивают бутылочной водой.

Был в Тамил-Наду. Это штат, который смотрит на Шри Ланку.
В аеропорту Триши уже половина народа была босиком. И в самом городе тоже. Ел местную еду, все в порядке. Главное - не есть жидкую еду на улице.

Храмы Чола - ето отрыв башки.

Но, вкратце, если хочется экзотики, а в Индию страшно - то лучше в соседнюыю Шри-Ланку. Она гораздо более турицт-френдли. А слоны, тигры и океан и там есть

А никто не ездил в Бутан? Я давно собираюсь на трансбутанский трейл. Пока собирался, они взвинтили цены за посещение. Выглядит очень интересно.

Катманду (Непал) на высоте около 1500 м, Tiger Nest (Бутан) - около 3200 метров. Я живу на высоте примерно уровня океана, но 'страдание высотой' является индивидуальной особенностью организма. Я в Андах Эквадора очень мучилась на высоте примерно 3600 м - только чай с кокой и спасал.

Не обязательно Катманду. Целиком весь Денвер с пригородами на высоте 1.7 - 2 км, а Колорадо Спрингс - так вааще 2 км + . Ну и наконец не забывайте про столицу Ню Мексико - город с романтическим названием Санта Фе - он на высоте 2.2 км.
Там на улицах не видно толстых людей. Тем которые были - поплохело так што они уехали, Или вымерли как класс. Из тех кто остался - самая высокая продложительность жизни в США.
